Thaci has words for journalists

President Hashim Thaci on World Press Freedom Day has invited all journalists to continue professional, researching work and to contribute to strengthening democracy and the state.

Thaci through a Facebook post has also said that Kosovo has many journalists with integrity.

The X-rayers today are marking May 3 in different ways, World Press Freedom Day. Kosovo thankfully has many good journalists, with high integrity and real professionals, who in very difficult circumstances have kept the fair and impartial reporting of our citizens alive. Kosovo's freedom and independence are also credited with the many generations of Kosovo journalists, who courageously and faithfully reported the truth to any process our country went through, he wrote.

3 May marks World Press Freedom Day, which in Kosovo was also marked with a protest by the Association of Kosovo Journalists (AGK).
