Thaci cites visa liberalisation prior to meeting with Merkel

President Hashim Thaci before the meeting, which today is expected to develop with German cancerist Angela Merkel in Berlin, has said that the first step towards realising Kosovo's century-old dream is liberalisation and free movement.

Europe's Day finds me in Berlin, where I have a library meeting at Chancellor Merkel. My message is clear: we are a country with more than 90% support for the European Union and European values”, wrote President Thaci, Kosovohas.

Thaci has yet said that they should work with partners in Berlin, Brussels, European capitals, but Washington, for the centuries-old dream of the people of Kosovo to become reality, adding that first of all sincere work will lead to a goal.

Today's Merkel will host President Thaci, in which he will discuss issues of common interest, while according to a statement from the Kosovo Presidency, Thaci will in this case seek support from Merkel for Kosovo's international subjectivity.
