<x) Remembering us for the chief goal of fasting, the great Lord in the noble Koran says, O you who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may guard yourselves against evil, and the matter ends at <x1), and Ternava said, following Kosovo.
Mufti Ternava has stated that getting away from food or drink is a means or a way of reaching the goal of devotion.
Fasting is humanity school. solidary values make fasting an added opportunity to reduce poverty and connect members of society. The way this is accomplished in Ramadan is rare, or characteristic only of Ramadan. The observance of fasting by abstaining from food and drink, according to some Muslim scholars, is designed to remind the poor of the bitter taste of hunger, that is practical education, concrete awareness, and not just”, it has continued.
Ternava has said that fasting is aimed at creating a climate of love, respect and joy, where the poor and rich meet and do not forget each other.
Ramadan begins tomorrow, May 16, and ends on June 14th. The first day of Fiter Bajrami is 15 June.
