The Pristina municipality has announced that tomorrow the first phase of spatial demarcation will begin for 2018.
According to Komuna's announcement, this process will take place for the first time in six stages, including the entire season during which mosquitoes and other insects are active.
“This year will deinsulate a total area of over 6500 hectares, including rural areas where there is high potential for developing these insects. Even this year, safe materials registered for use in European Union countries and in the United States of America” will be used, says the Komuna report.
The report says that the dezination will take place every day from 7:30 to 24: 00 a.m., according to the following dates in the designated neighborhoods:
June 01: Aktas, Mojaharna Quarter, City Park, Vellusha (Bloks-Plove House), City Centre, City Coast Payton, Arberia, Tophane;
June 02th: Lake, Dardania, Ulpiana, New Pristina (Veternik), Industrial Zone, Lagjja Nic and Kazerma Adem Jashari. ;
June 03rd: And the coast of the sun, and the neighborhood of the hospital, and Calabria, and the Hill of the Trimies:
June 04th: Taslige, Velan, Matt, Sophali, Taukbahcre, Germi, and Wneshett;
June 05th: Eperme Bernice and Downer Bernice, Barilles, Bessie, Bardosh, Kolovice and New Colovica, Prugovac, Tenesdol and Vranidol.
The municipality has announced that during the dezincation time, citizens should keep windows closed, so that they can't get in and limit exits through spaces where it is running for at least an hour.
