Kosovo's telecom is facing serious financial situation, and goals for privatisation have been set by the Government.
According to the prime minister's announcement, the company Orange has reported the state of Kosovo Telecom.
Prime Minister Haradinaj guaranteed full transparency and co-operation to improve the serious situation in Telekom, saying that the investment of “Orange” in Kosovo Telecom and the carrying of their experience in this area would be transformed into a success story.
Meanwhile, company representatives “Orang”, after being notified by Prime Minister Haradinaj of the situation in this area, expressed their readiness to invest in Kosovo, taking the successful development of the company “Orange” following the privatisation of French Telecom.
The company “Orang”, former French Telecom, is a privatised company 30 years ago that operates directly in 8 European Union states with 256 million consumers worldwide and employs 95,000 people in France and 59,000 in other countries of the world.
