Share 1m and a half euros for renovation of the stadium in Drenas

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports during his visit to the Darena municipality with the chairman Ramiz Ladrovci has signed a memorandum of co-operation for the renovation of the stadium “Rex1>, which totals 1m and 500 thousand euros.

Minister Kujtim Gashi said that during this meeting, they also discussed building the Culture House and procedures conducted so far for the national stadium.

With this visit, we discussed many different topics regarding the field of culture, youth and sports and heredity. With particular emphasis, we also discussed the national stadium for the procedures developed so far and the phases we have achieved, but also with the Drenas municipality and the Kosovo Football Federation, we will also begin building the Drensa relief stadium, which will be with synthetic grass. And I thank the chairman that he was willing and through the municipality's Assembly to share the parcel for this” stadium, Gashi said.

Drenas Mayor Ramiz Ladrovci, speaking of the sports successes of this municipality, said that through this memorandum they will speed up the work at the “Rexep Rexhepi” stadium.

Ladrovci has expressed readiness for the development of procedures for the construction of the national stadium.

“I promised the minister that all procedures for the development of the works or those initial works at the national stadium will be ready to give my entire contribution as mayor, but also as the municipality that there will develop as soon as possible, and as soon as we see the stadium that has begun to build a stadium that has lacked Kosovo, and a stadium that will be placed in the right place not because it has been found in our municipality of”, Ladrovci has declared.

After this meeting, Kuktur, Youth and Sports Minister Kuktura, Kuktur Gashi and the chairman of Drenas, Ramiz Ladrovci also visited the city stadium “Rexep Rexhepi” and the location where construction of Kosovo's national stadium is scheduled.

Otherwise, during today's day, Culture, Youth and Sports Minister Kujtim Gashi has also visited Skenderaj on schedule with the mayor of this municipality, Bekim Jashari has signed three memorandums of co-operation.
