Democratic Party of Serbia leader Milos Jovanovic has today accused Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, of trying to relinquish responsibility for the preliminary government to recognise Kosovo's independence.
It is true that the PDS has damaged many of Serbia's interests and prevented its position in the process of resolving Kosovo's problems, but it is a lie when Vuciq, fleeing responsibility, recalls days when these” big mistakes” have been sealed in Kosovo's sovereign independence”, Jovanovic says.
He added that Kosovo's “draft independence” was formed in 2013 with the signing of the Brussels agreement, but it will be sealed only with recognition of Kosovo from Serbia by signing a legally binding agreement.
According to him, Western powers would not invest energy to influence Serbia for the recognition of Kosovo, and that this seal is set and that Kosovo is independent.
