After from Serbia “came word Thursday” that Kosovar karateers in the European in Novi-Sad can compete only without state symbols, the rights of Kosovo athletes have been violated in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday.
At Bosnia's centre, Sarajevo, on Saturday (now) kicks off the Balkan Junior Championship in swimming, ending on Sunday. The plan was for Kosovo swimmers to compete in this championship, Kosovo's swimming representative, respectively.
In Sarajevo, there are currently nine Kosovar swimmers of the junior age group. But the organiser, the Federation of Nott of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has decided that Kosovo swimmers will compete without state symbols. Such a decision has been rejected by Kosovo delegation leaders.
