These are states that sell Kosovo blood

A significant amount of blood from England, France, and Japan flows through the veins of Kosovars. Citizens in need pay thousands of euros for a dose of blood from foreign countries. Infocus learns that the most expensive costs Japanese and cultural blood, France. But much cheaper price is paid for “royal blood”, from England.

According to Kosovo Customs data, blood from import is necessary to save Kosovars' lives, despite the large amount of blood being collected almost daily at the National Blood Transfusion Centre by citizens of goodwill.

But that's not working.

In the past year to secure a small amount of blood from France were paid about 500 euros.

The data sent by Kosovo Customs for Infocus says that 60 grams of French blood was paid exactly 484.48 euros.

During the past year, blood was also imported from England, but only $8.95 was paid from this country for 18 grams of blood.

For the same amount as it was imported from this country, it was not paid for the blood that came from Japan. The blood of the distant Asian country Kosovars pays more dearly.

89.76 euros cost 18 grams of blood imported from this country.

That is how it becomes known in Kosovo Customs records.

Although the blood imported from Norway is even more expensive than the blood imported from Japan. For 20 grams of blood from this country was paid 178.68 euros.

Not even the blood that comes from Belgium is free.

This is the only country that has been imported for the first four months of this year, and for 30 grams of blood this state was paid 260 euros.

Not only human blood was brought from foreign lands.

Kosovo even imports animal blood

A considerable amount of animal blood came to Kosovo.

Customs records say that this animal blood was prepared for therapy, profile, or diagnostic uses.

And it costs far more than the blood flowing in human veins.

The blood of animals from Canada last year has cost 354.28 euros. Meanwhile, for 0.07 grams of animal blood coming from Germany was paid 26.96 euros.

In the same time, animal blood came from England.

Kosovars for 2.36 grams paid 946.18 euros.

In the past year, animal blood also came from Japan. This type of blood imported from this country involved a higher cost than all other blood imports. For 22.40 grams of animal blood, they were paid 8,353,69 euros.

This year for 5.92 grams of blood was paid 2,656.30 euros.

Thirty thousand blood donation volunteers

However, Kosovo thanks to voluntary donors is not much dependent on the blood of other states.

The director of the National Blood Transfusion Centre, Beauty Zhubi, has told Infofocus that from last year there are nearly 30,000 blood donors.

Volunteer blood providers cover up to 80 percent of the patients' needs, the rest are assisted through a blood-oriented donation”, Joubi said.

According to her, blood is provided by donors from all over Kosovo territory. To a greater extent, they are young.

And the men are the ones who cover most of the blood supply.

“Volunteers of blood are from all over Kosovo territory, Pristina, Peja, Prizreni Gjakova, Gjilani, Mitrovica, Vushtrria, Ferizaj. 67 % of the voluntary donors belong to a group between the ages of 30, mainly men up to 80, %%x1>, says Zhubi.

Otherwise, the week of blood donation starts in June. Volunteer blood donation is practiced every year in Kosovo, and is organised by the National Blood Transfusion Centre. /Infocus. com/
