Arkady Babchenko, a Russian journalist who was reportedly killed in Kiev, came out alive at a news conference in Ukraine.
Babchenko, writes Periscopi, a Kremlin critic, left the police press conference today during the day in front of journalists waiting for news to report on his investigation into the assassination.
Babchenko had fabricated his death along with the Ukrainian police as part of an investigation into the threats to his life, officials explained. The plan was set for more than a month.
The journalist, who is a veteran war correspondent, issued Russia in 2017 after receiving many threats after a post at a social media. A large number of journalists and other dissidents have been killed in Kiev in recent years, with murders still unresolved. /Periscopi
