A group of online investigations has today stated they have identified a second Russian military official with a hand in dropping MH17 flight to eastern Ukraine in 2014.
According to Bellingcat, the collective has claimed that research points dirty at Oleg Ivannikov, who was acting under the name of the Orion Code.
Ivannikov was responsible for the armed forces in Lugansk's popular republic, an area held rebellious in eastern Ukraine.
Phone checks and other evidence have led Bellingcats to conclude that he was directly involved in the movement of the Buk missile system in and from Ukraine, Kosovo reports.
