In the Orthopedic Clinic with Traumatology of the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo, a rare operation has been performed of the total endoprothesis implantation of the scruples (the total prosthesis being placed on the bottom line), to the 49-year-old patient with congenital luxury of the cropla (a developmental disorder of the cropokull from birth).
Patient Q. B, 49 years old with congenial luxury on the right hip (a developmental disorder of the right hip from birth), untreated from birth. The one at Orthopeda Clinic has been reported because of walking problems and pain in the right hip, having been born with this problem and has never been addressed to this problem.
First, there is a visit, where, after clinical and radiological examinations, diagnosis and surgery. It turns out that in the patient, the lower right extreme in measurement has a 6cm cut.
At once, planning to intervene with completion of laboratory tests and necessary consultations begins. The case is described as complex in the WKUK and quite challenging, usually performed in clinics specializing with this problem.
After preoperial preparations and consultation with Anesthesiologist with the date, 16,05,2018 with the Spinal anesthesia (Dr. Agron Balaj and Dr. Islam Krasniqi) and the team from the Orthopedic side led by Dr. Arber Tolaj, Dr. Chen Bytyqi, Dr. Youth Velekinca and Dr. Artan Bata, as well as at the instrument Fatmire G, performed the surgical intervention, where the ostetomya (bone cutting) of the upper portion of the femur, at the level of the small trojanter, becomes the release of soft structures around the proximal fetus, the creation of primary acetabulium, and becomes the indoprotese implantation (prosthesis) in the total of the right - hand hip. Once again, the necessary length of extremism has been reached.
The patient's condition during the operation was stable and trouble free. In the control core, you see the correct position of positioning the acetabulary and femoral component.
After the operation, controlling tests have been conducted, where surgery has been found to have been performed with full success, the patient is still in expectation of starting physical therapy according to protocol.
