The prime minister, Edi Rama, has named a dignified act of resignation by his former Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri.
But contrary to what the opposition claims Tahiri handed over the mandate following an agreement with Rama, the prime minister says he had no knowledge of the former minister's decision.
The prime minister said he judges nothing about what is said in the case, as there is one case belonging to Saimir Tahiri and justice.
The statements, Rama, were made in an interview for opinion.
Journal: Have you asked former Minister Saimir Tahiri for the resignation of his mandate?
Rama: It's a waste of time to deal with the media and political pot talk. It is a case that speaks for itself and is respectful.
Journal: Did you know he'd give up the warrant?
Rama: I had no knowledge and no reason why I knew. Reremember that Saimir Tahiri has been a member of the parliamentary group for six months and has no role in the Socialist Party.
