Russian opposition leader Alexei Navajo has launched the new political party, though he did not participate in the founding of the party, due to prison sentences for organising protests against President Vladimir Putin.
The new party will be called Future Russia. The founding of this party took place at a convention held in Moscow has announced Lybov Sobbol, associate of the Navajo.
Sobol through a Twitter post has said the party has not yet been formally registered in the Russian Ministry of Justice.
She has said that the party's goals include “broad changes and real reforms”, including reforms in the justice system, fighting corruption “so that budget money is not spent on yachts and” palaces.
A court in Moscow has sentenced Putin's critic Alexei Navajo to 30 days in prison because of the anti-government protest body on May 5th.
