Putin nominon Medvedev for prime minister post

This Putin decision has been submitted to the Parliament's Lower Chamber, has been announced through a Kremlin statement shortly after Putin was inaugurated even for a six-year term in the president's post.
The state-owned firm is expected to review the nomination on May 8th.
It appears Putin's decision will be approved by the state-owned Duma, which is dominated by the ruling United Russia party.
Under the Constitution, the Government is obliged to resign when the president's new mandate begins.
In Russia, the prime minister is number two in the state hierarchy and is largely responsible for economic issues and responds to the president.
