Punishments warned for senior social networking test distributors

During today about 7 thousand and 700 seniors in the Ferizaj region and Gjilan have been subjected to the state prom exam, and every other year this process is not escaping copying.

As soon as the test starts at 10:00, a joint group of seniors have asked for help with questions posed.

This group of seniors has mainly seen the questions of test A and B, and cheating has been found among students in classrooms.

Kosova priss during the day has stayed in natural high school “Xhavit Ahmeti” in Gjilan, where a student with the final test has admitted cheating with other students who have been in the same class.

He refused to disclose his name, has stated that all the questions in the groups have been the same, except they have been changed in order.

The test was easy, all the group questions were the same, they just changed the places, so very easily... The groups were A, B, C, they just changed the questions, very easy was... I didn't have the phone at all in the classroom because the same groups, they all have one day, so we did something”, he said.

The distribution of tests on social networks for the student, Erisa Shkodra, is an injury to the good students, where she says those who dare to cheat get more points than good students.

We handed the phones over there, I heard they stole the others, it's too bad for us, that they could arrive and not us”, she said.

The students copied it among themselves and even the deputy principal of the high school “Xavi Ahmeti”, Agim Aslan.

There are small moves, like any student trying to do something with working with each other, but they are normal as students”, he said.

He has made it known that the students received their phones before the entrance to the center of the test and that they will receive after the trial ends.

Dispersement of senior social networking tests has been condemned by Parliamentary Committee for Education Chairman Ishmael Kurteshi, who has said that he has given up copying in this test.

Even the one for Kosova Press has mentioned what August would have to do to prevent cheating on the prom test, so that the results are really real.

I need to identify, first, whether the person or the group of people who are publicizing these tests that should really be saved in the best way possible. The ministry has pledged that this time not only the tests will not come up, but with the measures it has seen there will be no possibility of copying, and these tests will only represent the knowledge of those seniors who enter the test. If such things happen, then everything is devalated and it would have to be found another way to do the test properly. The test, as it has been so far, means it has been copied on all sides, it's not a test, it's rather a serious issue that needs to be dropped off and the ministry is obliged to find a way not to allow tests to be released in public and not allow the seniors to copy” during the term, he said.

Kurteshi said to prevent cheating on the prom test, August must become serious and take all measures under the law of violators.

The Matura State Commission, under the preparations it had made for conducting this test, had made a decision that students and managers were not allowed to enter the testing centres by telephone. However, this seems to have not been respected, since the Arber “Assembly School of Ferizaj was seen at a class entrance table.

On this issue the minister of August, Shyqiri Bytyqi has said that they continue to defend their position that students fighting by phone cheating to be excluded from testing.

While, in terms of the distribution of tests on social networks, the head of education has said that it should be seen how these tests originated and then report competent organs to undertake all measures under the law.

There are things to see, because these are defects that have been in the past. We have tried to reduce these defects, but it is not easy to eliminate all defects immediately. I think there's been a positive step, but we'll see how the test is going to turn out and what the impact of this test on social networks will be. We hope that no phone use in class will affect the publication of this test. So the main goal is that what it means not to influence results... we will inform competent organs and look where they flow, because we have to see where they're flowing and then there'll be measures that are pre-lawed by”, he said.

The prom will be divided into two parts, where in the second half the questions will be depending on the student education profile. The Ferizaj and Gjilan regime has first submitted this test, while the second part of the test will take place on June 5th.

Tomorrow the test will be subject to seniors in the Pristina region, 30 May those in the Prizren and Gjakova region, while on May 31st the region of Peja and Mitrovica.
