The principal man to fight crime may be a violation of the law

Three leadership positions are currently Lumez, chief state prosecutor, head of the Justice Academy and chairman of the Jurisprudence Proving, KTV reports.

But since 20 April this year, when the law received the president's signature, its function is illegal.

Article 13 stipulates that the top “cannot be a member of more than a public-owned company management body, public-owned stock society, as well as bodies of other public institutions.

According to the Ministry of Justice, Lumez's position in the Commission for Proving Jurisprudence is in accordance with the law, meanwhile, for the position of the Justice Academy, must be decided against corruption.

However, the Anti-Corruption Agency's response has not been clear whether Lumez is violating this law.

“Agent is in the process of placing data on property claims on its database, and as they are established and made public, the process of verifying and identifying cases of conflict interest for top public officials” is said to be in response to the media of this institution.

Since Friday, KTV has been sending questions to the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, the State Prosecutor, and has even asked Chief Prosecutor Lumez if he has violated the Conflict of Interest Prevention Law to senior public officials, with the fact that he is the chief state prosecutor, the Justice Academy, and is also chairman of the Commission for the Jurispruscia Test, but we have not yet received answers.

In addition to these positions, Lumez holds other non-directive positions, is a member of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council and a member of the Kosovo Academy of Public Security Board, for which it is also compensated.
