“The situation is getting really ridiculous”, he wrote in one of six posts on this topic on Twitter, asking when the investigation will be closed, calling it a $20 million witch hunt”.
He expressed the claim that investigators did not find secret co-operation with Russia. No obstruction, but they are not investigating corruption” in his former Democrat rival Hillary Clinton's campaign.
The American leader said the investigation of Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller “has given up Russia and is now dealing with the rest of the world” and its connections to Mr. Trump's campaign.
The president said that Mr. Mueller, who is authorised to investigate even cases related to the investigation into possible Russian elections to assist Mr. Trump's victory during the process, “may easily be able to extend the investigation until Congress elections are held in November, where he and his team “can harm the republican”.
The Republicans and true Americans must start to act tough with this” fraud.
Mr. Mueller's investigation has not indicated it will be completed soon. He has pressed charges against several individuals and Russian entities for interference in American elections, through the production of false news about controversial issues in the United States, and has secured guilty pleas from three members of Mr. Trump's campaign that are now co-operating with prosecutors. / VOA
