“Abort is the leading cause of the murder of women in the world”, said in black and white posts distributed in parts of Rome, at the time of the ceremony entering the 40th year since abortion is legal.
The campaign to prevent abortion in Italy is being led by a Spanish-based group that is also opposing marriage in the same gender.

This is not the first time a group against abortion has highlighted the negative aspects of this phenomenon. A month ago from Rome left a giant poster showing a fetus with the slogan “You're here because your mother didn't abort you”
