The policeman relates how the lieutenant had asked for a change in facts about an accident.

In this case, Fadil Surchischi, in the quality of Lieutenant Police Station in Podujevo, is now accused of misusing official office.

At Tuesday's session at the Constitutional Court in Pristina, he has given his testimony -- noble police Wessel, who had been at the scene of the accident in communications, reports the Justice Vow.

Answering the prosecutor's questions to the case, Merushe Llugqi, noble police Wessel, among other things, has said he has been threatened to act as the lieutenant, now accused Fadil Surkis, has ordered.

I have felt threatened, that if I don't do as the lieutenant ordered me, I have been told that I have implemented procedure to fail to comply with the orders of the superior”, Wessel said.

He has shown how the case took place as a whole, from the moment he realized the accident occurred.

“Axident occurred in February 2014, I was on patrol with colleague Fehmi when a traffic accident was reported on the “road. Skenderbeu”, Podujevo. We went to the scene, where we got pictures, we saw two car accidents, and we started designing the scene”, says Wessel.

He then said that his colleague had called another colleague.

While we went to the scene, Fehmiu called Vjolca Avdiu, who is our colleague, told her her that her husband had been in an accident, that you should look at something”, Vessel said.

According to Wessel, the accident had occurred because one of the accident had left the moving strip on the opposite side and hit the other car.

“S, along with colleague Rame Visoka, we have compiled criminal tingling against Xavit, on the day of the incident”, Wessel added.

He said three or four days later Lieutenant Fadil Surkis had invited him to meet in the office.

The Fadhil told me I was wrong in a criminal record and he told me to change the confusion. At first, I didn't say if it wasn't so let the court change it”, Vessel said.

According to him, he has not been of reconciliation, but now accused Fadil Surkis, as he has said, had insisted on changing that criminal outcry.

In this hearing, in the quality of the witness, Isaac Ejupi was also heard, who was then commander of the Podujevo Police Station.

I've originally received a complaint from our colleague, Vjollca Hoxha, who is the wife of one of the parties involved in the accident. Then according to official duty, I invited Fadhil, who told me he's an expert in traffic accidents and I asked him to file the complaint and see what happened”, Ejupi added.

According to Ejupi, he has later met with Gen Wessel, who, in his view, had been told that they are seeking to change the report. According to Ejupi, he has replied that if he has described the actual situation as it is, the statement and the report did not cause change.

I've invited both sides of the accident and what one of the accident has told me is perfectly compatible with what noble Officer Wessel has told me. I suspect the peer pressure and the wife of one of the parties in the accident had pushed Fadil to make that change”, EJupi said in the end.

The next session, where the other witnesses will be questioned, is scheduled on June 13, 2018, at 09: 00 p.m.

Otherwise, at the initial review hearing, held on January 3rd of this year, accused Fadil Surkis was declared innocent.

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina had filed charges against Fadil Surkis on November 16th 2017, with suspicion that the same had consistently carried out criminal work “the mismanagement of official position or authority” Article 422 paragraph 1 of KPRK.

Surchis has allegedly overstepped his official powers with the aim of benefiting material for himself or anyone else.

According to the indictment, Surchis had influenced two cases of traffic accident, one in the village of Dumnica and one in Podujevo.

Surkisti, according to the prosecution, had deliberately changed details about the accident and the site of the event, despite the fact that witness Behxhet Gashi had not been reconciled to him to do so.

Surchis claimed to have influenced the noble official Wessel, forcing him to make the same changes in his report and criminal gossip, but Wessel had also compiled the officer's report and had shown the reasons for changes to the police report and criminal speculation.
