Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has not ruled out the possibility that the torrential waters of the Lepenc River have taken the bodies of two police officers missing outside our country's territory, while he said that Kosovo police have done a random analysis but that it is still not for the public.
He made these comments during a visit to the site of the search for the two missing officers on the Lepenc River in Han, Elez.
We're just disappointed that we found two cops. But all that Kosovo has in it is by military, police, divers. We have to go back for the search. With these heavy water, there is the possibility of getting troops out of Kosovo. I gave my regards to a diver who's calling himself a maestro, and had asked him not to pressure these guys from the heat there”, Haradinaj said.
Speaking about the possibility of searching two missing police officers even on Macedonian territory, the head of the government said this cannot be done without completing the search within Kosovo's territory.
“E has a plan as well as the Macedonian government, but without doing it we can't even look there, because what if we find them around here”, Haradinaj has indicated.
The two Kosovo police officers disappeared on Saturday evening, when their car fell on the Lepenc River. While the site of the event has emerged, Kosovo police have indicated that the case is an accident, without providing more details.
