The number of snakes in the Germ Park has increased. At least that's what citizens who attend this section say. And according to biologists, it's about a species of reptiles that are among the most dangerous. But this is not seen as an alarming situation by the Institute for Nature Protection.

At the place called í Citizens in Kostunica say they have often encountered snakes.

There are those who dare not even walk the trails as before.

Most disturbing is the fact that in the green part of Pristina, dangerous species of this reptile are being seen as the Vipera ammodates snake known as the windstone that someone working in the park photographed.

According to University of Biology Professor Daut Rexhepaj, this post-circular season puts snakes more on the move, while warning that when they're hungry, they happen to jump up for their prey.

And in areas less man - made by human foot, snakes release up to 10 small ones.

Klan Kosova has contacted the Pristina municipality and AVUKU, who have said it is not their responsibility to manage this situation in the Germ Park.

On the other hand, Fadil Bajraktari from the Institute for Nature Protection under the Ministry of Environment said that it is normal to show more snakes in mountain areas and in the case of Germ, and that it is not a state of emergency and emergency situations when the weather heats up.

And biologist Rexhepaj suggests that this situation can best be managed if iris, cobbles, and other snake - feeding creatures are sent to the park to reduce them.
