Three separate locations in the north have been checked in the morning hours by Kosovo Police, and four people -- three men and one female -- have been arrested after finding a gun and other evidence during the operation.
The raids were carried out with the court's order at two locations north of Mitrovica, and another in a village of the Zvecan municipality, have confirmed the official Kosovo Police Chiefs.
At the prosecutor's decision, arrested persons have been assigned a 48-hour police ban.
A gun and other evidence, which were found during the search operation, will serve the further investigation procedure.
“Operation of control is undertaken after some serious cases occurred in the country's north”, Besim Hoti from the Mitrovica regional police has said.
