Pacolli urges this state to recognise Kosovo

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Behgjet Pacolli has congratulated representatives of institutions and the people of Paraguay on the 207th anniversary of independence.

“In the name of President, Government and People of the Republic of Kosovo would like to convey the most sincere congratulations to the leaders of institutions and the people of Paraguay, as they mark the 207th anniversary of Independence, desiring lasting peace, lasting stability and continued prosperity for the people.

At the same time, I use this opportunity to congratulate them on the successful elections held last month. We, expect and call on representatives of the Paraguay Institutions to reflect once again, precisely on the anniversary of their independence and reconsider the recognition of our state, which has now turned ten years as a new, independent, sovereign and well-informed state of the international community of peaceful and democratic states. Our diplomatic representation is now extended to several Latin American states and we are committed to doing so even with Paraguay as the next step towards bringing together relations between two countries and our two peoples, Pacolli said.
