The news has revealed Ferizaj's chairman, Agim Aliu, who through a reaction to the media has condemned this incident, calling it an ugly act.

This incident of the Orthodox Church's breaking of glass in Varosh and the Mujahira's Talinoc is an ugly act of irresponsible persons for whom Kosovo police and justice bodies have taken necessary actions. We condemn this incident, considering an isolated and uninfluencing case in the interreligious climate in our municipality. Such actions are against the religious ethics of the citizens ferrazaya, when we bear in mind the fact that our municipality is a symbol of the city of religious tolerance”, it says in response.

Aliu has stressed that he has continued contact with religious clergymen of all faiths, and that these incidents will not cloud the report, which he describes as being at the right level.

The costs for repairs will take over the Ferizaj municipality.

“Assure Orthodox believers and the leadership of the Orthodox Church in Ferizaj that the Ferizaj municipality will take over covering all expenses of repairing damaged property of the church and that I expect justice and security organs to make the right decisions against the perpetrators of this ugly act and against the civic spirit” the chairman Aliu added.
