So writes Belgrade portal, which adds that Washington has also invited the United Arab Emirates for help.
According to this portal, Koha.net broadcasts, the US has already prepared the $100m budget to lobby for Kosovo to become an Interpol member.
The Interpol General Assembly will be held from 18 November to 21 November in Dubai.
According to the Serbian portal, lobbyists from Kosovo have obtained a lot of money from the US administration.
“Washington is willing that poor and indecisive Interpol member states pay all the expenses of going to Assembly and in return they have only one task of supporting Kosovo's membership in Interpol”, writes information, broadcast Time.net.
According to Belgrade portal sources, America is determined no longer to leave the case and allow Kosovo's deadlock to happen again.
These sources add that years Russia and China helped Serbia prevent Kosovo membership, and that is why Albanians in agreement with Americans withdrew the candidacy. This time it suits them that the General Assembly is gathered in United Emirates, which has recognised Kosovo. In time, they have provided at least $100 million for the lobby, but are asking United Emirates to finance the plan.
That the US has prepared the money to pay Kosovo's admission to Interpol, states Serbian diplomacy chief Ivica Dacic:
“The US has been determined to postpone Kosovo to Interpol, the World Trade Organisation, U n NESTO and the Council of Europe. The United Arab Emirates are required to pay several seats to vote for Kosovo”, Dacic has said.
Serbian Police Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic, commenting on this information, says Serbia and its MPB are doing everything to prevent Kosovo's membership in international institutions, and especially Interpol.
