The director of the World Food Programme with the UN, David Bisley, after his visit to North Korea, said today he has won the impression that the country is writing a new page in its history of the food programme.
Bisley, who spent two days in the Pyongyang and two outside the capital, accompanied by government officials, says North Korea is working diligently to achieve food standards and the hunger problem is not as big as in the 1990s.
