Morocco has severed diplomatic relations with Iran under “arguing that the report between the Hezbollah organisation with the Polysario front threatens the country's security and stability”, the Anadolu Agency broadcasts.
Moroccan Foreign Minister Nassır Burita in a press release stressed that because of relations between the Hezbollah organisation and the Polysario front, Morocco has decided to close its embassy in the Iranian capital of Tehran and has asked Iranian Ambassadors to leave the country.
This step was taken because of the relationship between Iran-backed organisation Hezbollah and the Polysario front, where we possess evidence that Hezbollah leaders have provided financing and training for Polysario”, Burita has indicated.
Among other things, Macedonian Foreign Minister Maroquen Burita claims they have information that Hezbollah has offered military support to Polisario and that diplomats of the Iranian Embassy in Algeria have facilitated talks between Hezbollah leaders and the leaders of Polisario.
Burita also claims that in the last month Hezbollah she gave support to Polisario.
