After taking that decision by Prime Minister Haradinaj, there have been criticisms and reactions different from analysts, representatives of civil society and opposition parties say the appointment of co-ordinators is unnecessary.
But, according to the Government's Public Communications Office, pushing ahead state reforms is the reason why these co-ordinators have been appointed.
“Environment Protection is in the phase when everyone needs to react and has been left for years on the side. Another important topic for which a co-ordinator has been appointed are youth issues”, the KP's response said.
Until asked for the salaries of these co-ordinators, officials from this office have said their wage classification is at the level of ministers “will receive the same salary”. Co-ordinators on their team have the right to engage two advisers and an assistant.

By contrast, the Haradinaj government has so far officially appointed four co-ordinators, Besnik Tahirin national co-ordinator for State Reform, Thought Rugova co-ordinator for Climate Change and Environmental Affairs Rexhep Hotin National Co-ordinator for Culture, Youth and Sports, and Avdullah Hasani National Co-ordinator for the New Generation. /Telegraphy/
