Next year all working families will have a family member employed.
Thus has Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj declared during a meeting with the beneficiaries of a social aid scheme in the Ferizaj municipality.
Limaj has called on all those who are able to visit employment offices and start working because, according to him, a life of social assistance cannot be built.
You run professional schools if you want to do fairies, and the fairies say good people don't leave you. Ferizaj also has the Professional Training Center, but even professional school is here. Someone, young boys and girls in professional schools, and someone who's a little older than me went to the Professional Training Center to take a trade with you. Kosovo has the capacity and opportunity, and what I'm saying that we're doing in every city, Kosovo will offer you and this government, this ministry within the set term, I believe in the coming year that all families that can work and have a working man will have from a work site”, Limaj said.
According to Limaj, the country has the capacity to offer jobs to all who are capable of work and who want to work.
The invitation to visit the employment offices of social scheme beneficiaries has also been made by Labour and Social Management Minister Skender Recica. He said professional preparation would pave the way for job seekers
We're all counting on you all to appear at Professional Training Centers, respectively, at the Employment Offices to seek training and professional skills in areas you want to train. Use the opportunity to inform you that while you receive training at Professional Training Centers, you will be supported and will not leave social assistance until you are engaged in regular working relations. One thing you need to know, professional training paves the way for you to be wanted in the labour market”, Minister Recica said.
With the aim of easing unemployment, Minister Recica said they are working with several European Union states on the possibility of signing agreements on seasonal employment.
While the chairman of the Ferizaj municipality, Agim Aliu, said the vision of its governance in social policies is built on the principle of solidarity and increased institutional care.
Ferizaj's first added that his governing platform has integrated the package of measures belonging to the local level, which Ali said would be implemented in the social field.
He also introduced the arrangements he has made since receiving the mandate of the mayor.
“The essence of an intersectal council for the economic development of the municipality, because we see it as the best response to social issues. Therefore, this mechanism has been established for the first time at the municipal level in the republic, which is aimed at drafting developmental economic policies and beginning the realisation of the self-employment fund. We over this period have supported and empowered communitarian organisations, which represent the most sensitive social categories such as persons with special needs, vulnerable ethnic groups”, Aliu said.
He said the municipality that heads in terms of local competence remains committed to implementing all government views in the area of social care.
Ferizaj's municipality currently has 981 families in social scheme, out of which 570 families are of the first category not able to work. In the second category, however, there are 411 families who were present at this meeting, where they were called on to qualify professionally.
