LDK Parliamentary Group chief Advdullah Hoti has called the two stops that Serbian authorities have recently made Kosovo unacceptable; that of Kosovo Karatists, as well as the detention of the party MP Vjosa Osmani, to be part of a conference in the Serbian Parliament.
The non-acceptable stop by Kosovo athletes from Serbia to take part in the competition. Unacceptable MP Vjosa Osmani's stop to attend the European Integration Commissions meeting of Balkan countries. The European Union must react to this. On Europe's day when we must promote free, good neighbourly movement and the will to resolve issues with dialogue, Serbia is proving that it is lagging behind in isolation policy and conflict”, Hoti wrote.
We remember that Kosovo deputies Vjosa Osmani, LDK, Ilir Deda, Alternatives, and Blerta Deliu - Code - The PDK, they have received from a letter from Serbia's Parliament to report about the annulment of their participation at the “conference between the EU's idea of peace and development” previously held on 11-12 May in Belgrade.
According to Hoti, Serbia's behaviour testifies that the so-called dialogue has been in vain.
We need new forms of dialogue, but with political representatives who have civic legitimacy and credibility. You need a dialogue that addresses the empty subject of mutual recognition. Political consensus in Kosovo is necessary to face Serbian politics in this dialogue. Therefore, we need legitimate institutions that defend Kosovo's state interest in dialogue” without compromise, has continued deputy Hoti.
“The politicians who have been heads of criminal elements in the country's north to secure numbers for the government that is now not legitimate have the credentials needed to protect Kosovo's state interests in this vital process for the future of Kosovo”, he wrote.
He has said the LDK is willing to take over the creation of this consensus, which, according to him, should include all of Kosovo's society, the academy, civil society, communities, and the political spectrum.
