LDK MP seeks elections, says VV PDK will remain in opposition

LDK's Ismet Beqiri has failed Glauk Konjufca of Vetevendosje that their party in the upcoming elections will come first. For the LDK deputy, it is certain that only their subject will be the winner. This LDK official even continues to see Vetevendosje further in opposition. And with him the PDK. Mustafa's party does not give up setting the date for elections.

The Democratic League of Kosovo will not forget the bad that Vetevendosje has done during the time when it was Isa Mustafa in government. Consequently, neither will he want to coalition with this party.

That's what LDK's secretary-general, Ismet Beqiri, openly says. So this Mustafa deputy has given the answer to Vetevendosje Conjufza, who said that in the new elections, the first will come first, leaving the coalition with the party that used to throw eggs because of the demarcation.

I'm getting rid of the worry that the VV won't come first. The LDK will be the first. All parameters indicate that the LDK is first. For the rest of us, we have to decide. Some have to change behavior and course. The LDK is not easy to forget the behaviour of VVA deputies who have done major damage to the country. They must give up violence and what they have done in their report with the institutions and LDK pursues”, Beqiri said on Saturday, for Gazette Express, placing red lines on Albin Kurti's party.

However, LDK chief secretary stresses that in the end it is the party that decides for coalition partner, even though he believes his party will not need major coalitions after the elections.

“I think that the LDK and I have conviction after the elections will need no major coalitions. The time has come for the PDK to be in opposition with the VV. But it is not mine to give answers to our post-election coalition with opposition parties”, Beqiri has clarified.

The chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, had sent letters to political party leaders, inviting them to a table where they would agree on the date of early elections. The table where all parties participated was decided to hold the rotating table to co-operate about topics of importance to the country, resulting in the appointment of the new elections.

For this situation, Beqiri said the purpose and good will of the LDK) is to try to reach agreements about major topics by those who do not have the vote to move forward, and then set elections. It warns that if it is trying to buy time from other parties they will launch the motion.

“We won't expect to infinitely. We'll move to the next phase of action. Prepare for no-confidence motion against the current government. They're just about to wait, eventually, for another party to call the table. The Alliance and Initiative have this opportunity. Or another subject. If there is no result and it is an attempt to buy time we will go with the no-confidence motion against the Hardianj government”, Beqiri said.

He has already made it clear that the LDK will not give up on the appointment of the national election date.
