A resident of Metehija in Podujevo is in danger of being sentenced to up to three years in prison.
That's because he's allegedly killed a wild animal that's protected by law.
T7 secured this video. There, someone is surprised at the reactions of the lynx.
That this is a lynx confirmed by two other animal experts who saw the video.

Two months ago, Agron Shabani said by phone that the lynx was killed. Then he said they sold it. Later, however, he said that the protected animal with the Law had escaped.
The same day over the phone, he said this animal was sold to a man in Gjilan.
Now, his confession is quite different. This time he said the lynx escaped after he was caught.
However, he has refused to speak to the camera.
However, it seems that Agron sé was aware that he could end up in prison only because he trapped the lynx.
This animal is protected by the Law in Kosovo.
The sentence for this work is also presented at Article 319 of the Penal Code.
The danger that such action will be condemned is confirmed by the director of the Central Inspection Directorate for Forestry and Hunting, Besim Zogu.
He explains that such an animal matters even in the historical light of Kosovo.
The bird shows that one time it has even been thought that this animal has disappeared completely from Kosovo.
All over the Balkans, only 35 lynx exist, while only 5 are in Kosovo.
