It is not Serbia that is hindering integration into the European Union, but there are five states that have not recognised our country that are hindering Kosovo's integration into the big European family.
So it was said today at the table organised by the Vetevendosje Movement on the subject “Albanians and European integration”, on the eve of the EU Summit and the Western Balkans in Sofia, Bulgaria, where Kosovo as a state will participate.
Vetevendosje Movement leader Albin Kurti said our experience has shown that they are more easily integrated those countries that do not cancel the national policy because of integration. According to him, Kosovo's integration into the European Union is not hindering Serbia, but the five states that have not recognised it.
Kosovo's integration into the EU does not prevent Serbia, but the five states that do not recognise us by any means we cannot bring into the same category at this moment. They have to work harder with Greece and Spain. Until we can say that Serbia's membership depends greatly on Kosovo”, he said.
Professor Mazlum Baraliu said that Albanians even in the 21st century continue to be defactored and insignificant for the EU.
“in dangerous geopolitical games creates the impression that Europe still is not sufficiently aware of the consolidation and factoring of the Albanian issue. Albanians continue to remain defactored and insignificant for the EU. A nationwide strategy for consolidation as an Albanian nation should be established. Integrations to take place within the Albanian internal structure and then regional and European”, Baraliu said.
Intellectual Agim Vinca said our current song has remained our current plea to become part of the EU.
“Albanians have no alternative, because it is no coincidence that the EU is praying so much for Serbia to be part of it, as they also have the next” option, Vinca said. /
