The price of oil and gasoline has risen to 1.10 cents individually to 1.11 cents during the fourth month of this year, compared to the previous month, what was 0.95 cents.
Kosovo Oil Chief Fadil Berjan, in a proposal for Indexline, has indicated the reasons for the train's raising the derivative price.
He has stressed that this line as the consequence of the smallest quota of oil production, where the price later dictates daily Beza.
“As far as the price of derivatives is concerned, we have a slight increase. But the award dictates daily Beza and production organisation O PEK. Last year at this time the price of oil was 0.95 points. That's because it's been the international quota of huge production, while this time the production of derivatives is declining and automatically we have increased derivatives on the international globe, and this affects the Republic of Kosovo”, he has said.
Berjan has added that Kosovo citizens are serving with cheaper derivatives in the region cheaper than Albania, Montenegro, Serbia and Macedonia.
“Macedonia has more free of charge because of excise is behind 20 cents lower than in Kosovo, but now with European Union remarks Macedonia has been forced to increase the excise, where it has made oil equal, but Macedonia is more expensive”, Berjani has said.
According to him, citizens and businesses need no panic because they are serving at real prices.
