The Ministry of Infrastructure in Kosovo, as well as the Ministry of Transport and Marine Affairs of Montenegro, have signed a co-operation agreement between the two countries today.
In this case, the leader of this Montenegrin ministry, Osman Nrkovic, has said they have reached agreement in principle on three projects.
The first is to build a tunnel on the Peja Rozhaj Street, which they consider to be the largest project between the two countries.
In addition to the project and the railway connection agreement, agreement was signed on the removal of the border tax, which, according to him, will start implementing soon.
They also said an agreement between the two countries for free transport would be signed in July.
On the other hand, Kosovo Minister Pal Lekaj also spoke of building the Decan-Plav road, which he said institutions would not allow to be affected by implementing the project.
As for the financing modules of the two-man tunnel project, the two ministers said there will be options for financing either private public or joint financing of both governments, as well as with the help of the European Union or European financial organisations.
