“Kopchev comes from the town of Nessabar, the Burgas region and represents a known entrepreneurship personality and one of the major investors in the tourism industry in the Burgas region, Veliko Ternoves and Borovec. It is no coincidence that Kopchev has been appointed as an honorary consul, since his honorary performance has confirmed over all these years, offering continued and unreserved co-operation for ARKS”, the MPJ reports.
According to the announcement, from now on Kopchev, the Honour Consulate at Nesebar, will be an extra address for all those scientists, businessmans, athletes of the Black Sea region, who are interested respectively in cultural, economic, trade co-operation between the two countries.
The proposal for the appointment of Kopchev was made even according to the recommendation of the Mayor of the Commission of Nesebar, Nikolai Dimitrov, where Kopchev also served as adviser to the Municipal Council from 2003 to 2007.
Likewise, Ambassador Kalaba has praised that with Mr. Korcev Consult of the RKS will also be established consular representative offices in the resort city of Nessebar, through which the economy, tourism and Kosovo culture will be strengthened, and there will be educational and business exchanges, and the Friendship Association between the two countries, part of which will be people from Bulgaria's political, economic and cultural elite.
Meanwhile, in his address after taking office as an honorary consul, Kpchev has said he is honoured to be the first Bulgarian, honorary consul of the RKS. Before me is a great challenge to carry out this mission with responsibility and dedication. I am convinced that the Honourary Consulate of the RKS here in Nessebar will be an additional value in the relationship between our two countries”.
While making a flow of this process up to finalisation, Kopchev said it has not been very easy to reach here, but this has been achieved thanks to the excellent co-operation we have had with Ambassador Kalaba during this time. At the time when the whole world is facing various challenges and conflicts, we in the region need to direct our energies towards building bridges of friendship”.
Nessebar ancient town dates to U defence list NESTO from 1984, as well as visited during the summer season by 40,000 tourists per day, maintaining the primat as a cultural and historical destination in Bulgaria and beyond.
