Among the topics that are so common in our society as soon as the weather gets hot is also the stinging of ticks, which are the main factor in bleeding fever.

It is seen that even this year, the number of people affected by ticks has been quite high, until according to KKUK Director Hamdi Ramadani is up to 164, while the champion in the largest number of cases is Pristina.

Of these patients bitten by the ticks according to Ramadani there has been no deterioration of the situation, except for one case that has been treated quite well within the KKUK. Meanwhile, if we make a parallel with last year, we see that the number of people bitten by ticks is not that there is a big difference.

Along with the ticks, another problem is snakes, so far there have been four cases that have been treated as a result of snake bite. “Infectious Clinic has also been noted in several cases of snake bite, where four cases have been handled. Their health situation is good, after hospitalisation, although they have had serious clinical picture”, says Ramadani, reports Europe Lire.

The difference from last year is that municipalities, which are areas that are mostly where there are cases of picking up ticks like: Malishava, Suhareka, Rahovez, and Kline, this year's appearance is seen to be the largest concentration of the ticks in the capital.

We remember that cases of ticking were known to continue where we had 11 people died in 2013 and were bitten by the ticks of some 5,200 citizens.
