First KLA Military Academy Restored

Culture, Youth and Sports Minister Kujtim Gashi and the mayor of the Scikyright municipality have signed three memorandums of understanding, two in the field of cultural heritage and one in the field of sports.

The restoration of the first KLA war academy in Acharevo and the reconstruction of the Saban Manjoll tower in the village of Micesnica will take place in the cultural heritage field.

On the occasion of the signing, the head of Culture, Kujtim Gashi, said it is a special pleasure to especially finance the restoration of the KLA's first military academy in Achareva, due to the past and the contribution of Svaniated citizens to Kosovo's liberation.

It's about the Runik Stadium. The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports for this phase has earmarked 200 thousand euros to invest in this stadium. Also, there are two other projects, which are within cultural heritage, is the reconstruction of the Saban Manjolle tower in the village of Mikisnica, which will be one of the most important cultural heritage projects in this three weeks. Gashi vowed to continue supporting Skenderaj, where he also announced they are investing in the House of Culture in this municipality.

With three projects that are important to our municipality, there are other projects in the future that are perhaps even more important than this.
