For more than a month, the Kacanic- Hani-Elez regional road will remain blocked as a result of the threat of landslides and stones.
The Ministry of Infrastructure after the closure of this road axis Tuesday at 10:00, has immediately started preparing for the start of the works so that part of the hill will be levelled, writes “Koha Ditore” today.
Officials of this ministry on Tuesday have also told of alternative roads that drivers can follow. Qemajl Jonuzi, project manager at the Ministry of Infrastructure, has stated that citizens from Kacanic to the town of Hani Elez, can move only small cars through alternative roads from the reconciliation field in the direction of Globocica, meanwhile, transport vehicles can cross into Elez Hani only via the route to Tetovo.
This is about closing the monthly axis of this road until the hill's soil is removed and the state stabilizes, because there have been landslides in the past and collapses of stones in this part of the magistrate. A final solution will be made for preventing landslides and stones, so instead of the event, the Kosovo Police will continue to stand in place for drivers-oriented”, Jonuzi said.
