Izetbegovic: Erdogan is God's envoy

Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency Chairman Bakir Izetbegovic in his speech at the sixth Union of Turkish Democrats of Europe Congress (UETD) in Sarajevo, where honourary guest is Turkey's Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, has said the chief of Turkish state is sent to God.

He has stressed that Bosniaks and Turks for a long time are together, and that many have tried to separate themselves from their faith, identity and pride, but failed.

Izetbegovic stresses that it is incredible how during the recent aggression in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosniaks managed to protect themselves.

We Bosnians had Alija Izetbegovic. Can't explain how we've been able to protect ourselves. This was possible only with God's intervention and his will. Today you cannot explain how Turkey manages to carry this heavy burden and weight. With so many enemies within it, at its borders, with millions of refugees who care about both its people, Turkey not only copes with this but also progresses. For now you have the man whom God has sent you, and his name is Recep Tayip Erduğan. When God sends you such a man, you are obligated to help him, to be on the right side, to gain the right side. It takes even a little bit for the right side to win, these are your votes from the Turks from Europe. Stay with your leader, be with Turkey, be victorious”, Izetbegovic ordered.
