IPKO Supports Disabled Children

Five Source Centres and five organisations are among those to benefit, such as: Source Centre for children with intellectual injuries “Progress” in Pristina, “LefNosi” in Prizren, “Mother Teresa” in Mitrovica, Burimore Centre for Children with primary damage “James Deda” in Pec, Special School for Children with multiple injuries “Hope” in Increase, Organization “PEMA” in Ferizaj, DoenSyndrome Kosova in Pristina, “The AUTIZMI Association” in Lipjan, the Association of the Deaf” in Pristina and the HANDIKOS organisation Suhareka.
“IPKO for many years now, constantly initiates and supports the causes associated with children, as it is very important to create better living conditions for children and offer the best we can for Kosovo children. Each child should be offered sufficient development and learning resources, and this initiative aims to help children and educators achieve these goals more easily”, said Robert Erzin, Executive Director of IPKO Telecommunications LLC.
IPKO has supported all these organisations with a total of 10,000 euros. Donation has been donated, taking to base the needs of these centres, equipping them with materialconcrets/dactics, tools and equipment that facilitate and help the learning process among disabled children.
IPKO constantly supports various causes associated with children. Through the project initiated by IPKO, “We stay with children” , IPKO has donated 100,000 (100 thousand) euros of medical equipment to 10 Family Medicine Centers at the end of 2017 ) early 2018. IPKO, also supported the education sector through the “Masters select IPKO support” project, supporting 50 schools, gardens and other educational units, mainly in rural countries.
