A massive campaign has been launched in social media through which Turkish President Rexhep Tayip Erdogan is calling for his resignation, Periscopi reports.
This campaign began after Erdogan's statement in Parliament, that if the people one day say enough, then he will leave.
Based on this statement by the president who ruled the Turkish state for 15 years, many Turks have made publication on social networks with hashtag TAMAMM, which means enough.
This has been used nearly two million times since Tuesday night, by many social media users who strongly criticise Turkish President and AK party chairman.
When this trend started to take off on social networks, pro-government accounts were mobilised and a counterfust of hashtag began DEVAM, which in Albanian means keep going.
This clash between the two rival campaigns has been described as one of the greatest political wars in internet history by Professor Akin Unver.
Someone has even gone farther.
Battle between campaigns TAMAMM and # DEVAM named it a war between superheroes, reports Periscope.
