Avdullah Hoti, head of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic League of Kosovo, told Radio Free Europe, that regardless of whether or not groups will be formed for drafting plans for topics talked about dialogue, association, electoral reforms and transforming the Kosovo Security Force from them, according to him there can be nothing relevant.
Hoti said there is currently no parliamentary majority in the Assembly, and without the parliamentary majority, he underlined, institutions cannot be led.
We have to agree on how the country can go to new elections, and during this period we have to deal with how national importance topics should be addressed so that institutions are not paralyzed. This is the whole essence of these tables. Anything else that goes beyond them, the Democratic League does not support them and does not become part of them”, Hoti said.
Meetings between political parties, Hoti continued, may continue, but the goal according to him is for the country to move as soon as possible to elections with a common agreement on the date. He said the LDK's goal is to have legitimate and functional institutions.
The Assembly's <x0... The parliamentary commission meetings have begun to fail. Last week, the government meeting failed. So it's a crisis”, Hoti said.
