The Constitutional Court in Pristina, at today's session, has convicted Kujtim Bcaliu and HIB Petrol shpk, of defrauding the Pristina municipality of non-alcoal oil.

The company “reacted after the court ruling Hib Petrol” through a media statement saying they were shocked by the Court's decision.

The statement says the company “Hib Petrol” has fallen victim to malicious purposes, and that until today they have believed in justice.

We are shocked by the Pristina Foundation Court's decision and at the same time indignant that our company is once again becoming the victim of malicious goals. We have so far believed in justice and our disputes we've always tried to solve through the legal ways”, it says at the press release.

They have said they feel totally vulnerable in this country, where justice according to them continues to improve.

Our contribution and sacrifice for this country have witnessed for decades, but we will not accept becoming victims of any purpose. If we as one of the biggest companies in the country, with over 1,000 employees, feel totally vulnerable in a country where justice is learned then how does a simple citizen feel?

Through the statement, they have said they strongly believe that the bias is not based on creditable legal evidence, and that this ruling is not the decision for which the administered evidence has proved otherwise.

“We strongly believe that the bias is not based on creditable legal evidence, while we have seen continued rejection in the presentation of protective evidence. With full conviction we stress that the Act given today by the Constitutional Court in Pristina is not a decision taken on the basis of what has been handled in the Court. Administration tests have proven otherwise. But, unfortunately, the Court pronounced an unfounded trial in evidence”, said in the statement.

They have added that they will not stop demanding justice by following all legal regulations, and that this case will have a good end.

“We will not line up to seek justice by following all legal ways, and we strongly believe that this issue will have a good end in the hope that even this country will start to have justice”, it says in the statement.

The court sentenced Kujtim Bucaliu to a unique sentence of 4 years in prison, as well as a fine sentence of 15 thousand euros.

While HIB Petrol's legal representative at home, Brushen Hetaj, the court imposed a unique fine sentence on him at the value of 30,000 euros.
