The deputy chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lutfi Haziri, has warned the public appearance of Isa Mustaf very soon. That, according to him, is only a matter of days. At the same time, they still have no position on whether their party supports President Hashim Thaci as leader in Kosovo dialogue Serbia. But early elections, for LDK, are inevitable, says this senior official of Isa Mustaf's party.
After a long absence on the political scene due to health complications, Democratic League of Kosovo Chairman Isa Mustafa will soon leave his offices.
Lutfi Haziri has said that their leader is in very good health condition, but that he is treated with physical therapy and that he does not need a lead in the party as a result of Mustafa's several-month absence.
On a daily basis, sub-chairmen manage the party under political processes such as dialogue, demarcation, the law for Pristina, Isa Mustafa has his word and his key role in decision-making. He's very good, he's currently in physical rehabilitation and he's getting engaged, going to work or office as you call him is a matter of days”, Has Haziri explained.
However, soon the last phase of Kosovo dialogue is expected to begin, whose mandater is claimed to be President Hashim Thaci, whom the LDK has consistently rejected. However, now, Haziri says their party has no final stance on this and that it is not discussed how to act.
We have not discussed this issue, the document has not come, so the draft government resolution has not been officially sent to us as far as I know it, has been able to go through parliamentary groups, but not to the LDK chief and we have no finalisation on the issue. This is constitutional duty has nothing to do with political party”, it has clarified for Express.
This party recently called a political table in search of a solution to the current situation in the country, which resulted in calling other rotating tables.
But the LDK deputy chairman makes it clear that they have not backed down from their initiative to go to the polls. This, for them, is inexorable.
“Definitely early elections with the agreement is the way the LDK is asking itself for the fact that we have initiated the project of political parties so that at first a list of important projects that are important to the country as it is dialogue, and legislation and finally agree to an early date which is inconsistent, the government needs political stability, and this is the current government rule that needs to happen to”, he added.
The latest phase of the dialogue is expected to start at half-month June. Meanwhile, President Hashim Thaci in his address at the Montenegro Security Forum stated that the final “Agreement, which should be binding, will be difficult for Kosovo, but will not be easy either for Serbia”.
