Kosovo is dedicated on its European path and Euro-Atlantic integration. Our citizens deserve to be equal and to move freely to EU countries, and we are expecting as soon as we get the right and deserved news for visa liberalisation”, the prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, during meeting with European Parliament Vice President Reiner Wieland, Ambassador Christian Heldt and head of the “Adenauer\3> office in Kosovo, Johannes Rey.

Haradinaj announced the European Parliament's deputy president, Rainer Island, with the government's commitment to fulfilling all its commitments to the European agenda.

Kosovo is ready for visa liberalisation and we expect the European Parliament's support in this process, which is vital for our citizens”, Prime Minister Haradinaj said, according to the media statement.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Haradinaj stressed the importance of intensifying economic co-operation with Germany, strengthening bilateral relations with the country.

Kosovo is Germany's ideal partner to strengthen economic co-operation. We have necessary resources, suitable for German investors, and now it is time to see concrete projects in this direction”, Haradinaj added.

Prime Minister Haradinaj also cited at the meeting the importance of visa liberalisation for the country's citizens, and now Kosovo is another reality, from which EU countries cannot have problems.

Meanwhile, Weyland thanked the prime minister for the expectation and readiness of co-operation for specific projects from the education field to EU and German government programmes, expressing Kosovo's support on its road to strengthening order and law and bringing the country closer to the European agenda.
