Border crossing points with Greece will not operate for 24 hours, and because of a strike carried out by the Greek side.
As authorities in Kaptica report, work has been suspended at 7: 00 a.m. on Wednesday, and will resume after 24 hours on Thursday, May 31st.
It is known that during these hours, not the passing of vehicles will be permitted but only to cross pedestrians.
Also at other border points with Greece, in Kakaville and Three Bridges will be blocked.
The union of Greek Finance Ministry employees announced it would join Greece's call of independent unions on the general strike to be held today in the neighbouring state.
According to the union, customs officers will also take part in the strike, so during May 30th, all vehicle and truck crossings at Greece's border points with Albania, Macedonia and Turkey will be suspended, while with Bulgaria the car movement will be allowed, but not trucks.
The strike will suspend movement at ports and airports, as well as hospitals and civil services. Doctors also said they would protest, while public transport vehicles will suspend the movement.
