The Kosovo government plans to scrap the agreement reached between Kosovo Telecom and ZMobile Company.
The executive is expecting an official report from the board of this company for further action.
Economic Development Minister Valdrin Luka has told KTV that in addition to this step, he is also awaiting the company's restructuring plan, without excluding the reduction of wages.
According to him, for just 3 months, losses in Telekom are 4m euros.
All these actions, according to Luka, relate to the plan for privatising Kosovo Telecom through the Strategic Investment Law, but without participation in government decision-making in the company's leading policies.
And that, according to him, was one of the reasons for meeting the day before with the directors of the renowned French mobile phone company Orange.
Economic experts say privatisation of Telekom should not happen without responsibilities for those who brought the company into this state.
The actions taken come immediately after the arbitrage decision, where Kosovo came out victorious in confronting the Axos company.
But the board of Kosovo Telecom directors has sent a letter to all workers, saying it is dezinforms news that the government has asked them to cut their salaries.
The board says it has not considered the possibility of lowering salaries at any of the meetings.
