Only one out of the seven largest municipalities in Kosovo has fulfilled one of the six pledges of good governance, given during the time of the election campaign, has said chairman of the non-governmental organisation “Democracy Plus”.
This NGO has released a report, according to which of all seven monitored municipalities, such as: Pristina, Prizren, Gjilan, Gjakova, Peja, Mitrovica and Ferizaj, so far only the Pristina municipality has published its quarter expenses at the official site, as well as sent to the Municipal Assembly to discuss the report on these expenditures. All other six municipalities have either not taken any of these steps, or just one of them, writes Koha Ditore today.
Thus, according to the report, Prizren and Pec's municipality have published the three-month spending report, but have not yet put it into question in the KK. Meanwhile, the municipalities of Gjilan and Gjakova have sent them for discussion to the KK, but have not yet published the reports on the official sites of institutions. And there are two other municipalities, the Mitrovica and Ferizaj, which have made neither.
